Sagittarius A, also known as Sgr A, is a massive black hole located at the center of the Milky Way galaxy. It is one of the most studied and well-known astronomical objects in the universe, and has been the subject of countless scientific studies and observations. The first indications of the existence of a black hole at the center of the Milky Way came in the early 1970s, when scientists observed a high concentration of radio waves coming from the direction of the galactic center.
