Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover : Complete Details

It has been discussed among the scientists' world that Mars atmosphere was identical to the one we experience on Earth until it was eradicated 3.5 billion years ago. Due to this atmosphere, our planet was able to maintain proper conditions to support life. Soil was nutritious enough and was neither acidic nor basic which later supported to help in growth of the vegetation. Water's temperature was neither blazing hot nor freezing cold which supported growth of microorganism. Moreover, volcanic eruptions maintained the planet temperature. And if same thing was going on Mars at same time then there has been a possibility that life existed there  when life was flourishing on Earth at the same time. So, Nasa's latest mission is all about finding a glimpse of that possibility that we have been hoping for many decades.
A decade ago, Spirit Rover (2004-2010), also known as MER-A or MER-2 and Curiosity Rover (since 2012) has ruled out the possibility of existence of liquid water on the surface of Mars. However, NASA didn't have advance technologies installed on those rovers to investigate further. So, Perseverance Rover is sent out for this mission to un-shadow the truth that has been lurking on the surface of Mars for billions of years.

Perseverance Rover has modern equipment equipped to explore Mars surface better than ever. It has been expected that it will unravel the looks for the sign ancient life, it will also collect Martian rocks and soil samples for future research and it will also study the geology of Mars and several more things.

Mars has lot of CO2 in its atmosphere, if we are able to extract oxygen from it, then it will be beneficial for possible human settlement on Earth as well as it will be helpful in future's endeavors. That's why along with perseverance rover, a equipment named Moxie has been sent there which can produce oxygen from carbon dioxide through solid oxide electrolysis. This oxygen can be used for humans as well as in rocket as propellent.

For the first time in history, a drone helicopter which is sent along Perseverance Rover, will take its flight to test the possibility of powered flight. This helicopter is named ingenuity.

The whole word has set their hopes high on this mission. I will update further when new information will come.
